The Sacramento Kings were founded as the Rochester Royals in 1945 but did not join the NBA until 1948. After moving to Cincinnati and Oklahoma City they finally based themselves in Sacramento in 1985. While playing in Rochester the Kings were able to win one NBA Championship. They currently play at Power Balance Pavilion, which was built in 1988 and holds 17,000 fans.
